Just back from foot surgeon's office.
Buxom redhead who did the x-rays 
hasn't been vaccinated.
I didn't ask, why not?

The boot is off.

My old cloth Nikes
the ones I got at the outlet store
those favorite shoes are on
and they fit even better 
than they fit before.

Need to get circulation back.
I am numb
and not yet dancing.
Doctor offers I can walk again.

Later I may go
get the mail.
Take a shower.
