Our age is merely the number of years the world has been enjoying us.
And here he is nearly three years later.

and lately I age about three years per
my own self.
I keep him safe,
he keeps me busy.
I think the reason dogs live so fast
that’s how much more fun
they are having
than we have.
The clock is ticking
for both of us.
