Healing is the essential rite of art. I literally started to doodle again as a response to growing old. No idea why. A good thing doesn’t always require introspection. The surprise is I only want to draw a crazy dog. Last time I began drawing, I was dealing with mid-life crisis. No surprise, my skills have not improved. And the dogs just keep getting crazier. – JDW

I have sold more stories in my lifetime than Van Gogh sold paintings in his lifetime.
Adjusting for Dutch guilder’s inflation, I still earned more gelt.
I continue to doodle and I have both my ears yet.
