Remember When You Used To Wish You Were Tiger Woods

We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that death will tremble to take us. – Charles Bukowski

Remember
when you used to wish
you were Tiger Woods.
Famous with a big stick,
porno princesses,
Bob Evans waitresses
wouldn’t leave you alone.
Now look at you.
But Lord,
she was lovie-dovie.
Geezus,
why the hell
can’t I get famous
writing this crap?
Bukowski did.
Times change, I guess.
But I guess,
men remain the same.
Balls.
Ambition handicapped
by stupidity,
And bad timing.
And those little things
they put in
when I wasn’t looking.
